I made my first soap in 2013. Since then, I started paying more attention to ingredients in cosmetic products and 4 years ago I decided to try making some of them from scratch. This is a classic story about making soaps in my kitchen and sharing them with my family, friends and colleagues from work (sorry for giving you lotion bars without packaging during summer! :D). This is a hobby that I started besides my everyday work as a head of quality control in a brewery, but now it has grown.

I do everything that’s included in a life of a small entrepreneur, from recipe formulation, actual production and product photography to communicating with customers, procurement of raw materials, etc. The list is so long.

I am in a never-ending search for better, skin-loving, sustainable and quality formulations.

Besides being the founder of Sapoon brand, here are some facts you (don’t) need to know about me:

• I have 2 kids (and a cat)
• I have a master’s degree in bioprocess engineering
• I was a ballet dancer for 8 years
• And I played the drums for 10 years
• I have 3 tattoos and I don’t plan on stopping there
• I’m a creative but down-to-earth Pisces
• I looove plants and flowers and I cannot have too many in my apartment
